The Wild Cards seek connection through spirited debates that stretch long after dinner, the vibrant energy of the Club’s events, and the spontaneous celebrations that turn an ordinary evening into something truly unforgettable.
Perhaps no one better embodied the Wild Card spirit than Frank Sinatra, a longtime neighbor of The Tamarisk Clubhouse whose presence was felt far beyond the 17th fairway. Ol’ Blue Eyes wasn’t just an entertainer—he was a force, bringing people together, challenging norms, and making every gathering feel electric. Much like today’s Wild Cards, Sinatra understood that a Club is not just about the game but about the people who shape its energy.

Few exemplify the spirit of the Long Shot better than Ben Hogan, Tamarisk’s first head golf professional and one of the greatest to ever play the game. Known for his discipline, precision, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Ben’s journey was a testament to perseverance. His legendary “Walk The Greens” approach reflected not just mastery of the game but a profound respect for its challenges.
Today’s Long Shots embody that same spirit—thriving on the journey, embracing the struggle, and ultimately triumphing through sheer determination.

One shining example is Dinah Shore. A pioneering entertainer and passionate golfer, Dinah’s impact stretched far beyond the game. She advocated for wellness, fostered friendships, and helped define our social fabric.
